This isn't something anyone has to do and it is more a personal reason that I'm trying to research this. I've been trying to understand more about the Ancient Ones.

The clues I can give of what I'm looking for is a dessert climate, wore black-robes, and oversaw a lot.

My personal reason for researching this is because of a dream I had that felt like there was a reason for it. I just want to know what that reason was and if there was any meaning. That is why this is more personal then anything. I don't know what I'm looking for on this.

When I read 'ancient ones' the first thing that sprang into my head immediately was Lovecraft and his writings. 'The Ancient Ones' is a specific term he used.
