Finally, here's something I hestitate to post, but will, and will likely regret it. Because it's probably, hopefully, entirely bullshit.

Several days ago on the web board of Godlikeproductions, a new poster appeared calling himself "German Guy." (Here is the thread, but be warned: because he is unregistered anyone is able to post under the name, and he has attracted several obvious copycats and hoaxers. Also, the thread is now well over 1,000 posts long, most of them chaff and nonsense.) He said he was a recently retired agent of the BND, with sensitive information regarding an impending staged nuclear attack on American soil. Specifically, Houston, December 27, perpetrated by what he called the "Hidden Hand" faction of the CIA, Mossad and SAS.

I should note right now that at least two respondents on "German Guy"'s thread have already, and separately, taken this threat warning to the FBI.

The website went down Friday night, and at the time of this posting is not up again. It's likely something as innocuous as a problem with the server. However, as I was reading German Guy's posts, I entertained the possibility that he really was BND, and weighed the chances of the site remaining up in that event. So I archived the thread.

I know it may appear otherwise, but I don't mean to be unduly alarmist. The thing is, how do we know what's "unduly"? It's not like the sky isn't falling.

Even if not genuine, German Guy makes a fascinating read - doom porn, I guess that would make it - and he's clearly done his cloak and dagger homework.

Why has the local affiliate of the largest police labor organization in the nation refused to lift last year's vote of no confidence? Why have veteran dispatchers, call takers and supervisors chosen to retire early or seek employment elsewhere in droves?

By the way, about the Columbus connection. It makes perfect sense (I live there). Two men have been arrested as terrorists. One claimed to have met OBL himself and to have trained with A-Q. The other, a Somali who I believe had absolutely no record and was known as a peaceful man, was supposed to have threatened to blow up a shopping mall here.

The funny (not funny, exactly) thing is, Columbus has a large Somali population that mostly resides in one area of town, where there was a decrepit old shopping mall called "Northland." It was vacant at the time of the supposed threat, waiting for demolition, and although it wasn't disclosed which mall was threatened, I could easily imagine this scenario:

Agent posing as militant Islamic Somali: I hate America! We must strike them at their heart!

Poor dupe: Yes, let us blow up Northland! (hee hee)! That will show them! (snort!)

The guy was of course arrested and I believe there was some business about his mental state and then it dropped completely from the news here. Poof! Poor guy's probably locked up in Gitmo banging his head against the wall and thinking "I'll never make a joke again!" That is, if he's even alive. You know, your post has spurred me to search the Dispatch archives to try to find out what really happened.

I think that the mall threat happened either late last year or early this year. The whacko I-270 shooter came later in the mayhem timeline. He was genuinely schizophrenic, though.

It seems of only passing interest to German Guy, too. The point of it all comes down to his provocative questions for Wolfowitz, which he repeated in his apparent final post. Perhaps the Dec 27 date is merely a speculative hook for us to pay attention to what else he's saying. Because when Houston is still there on Dec 28, the points he raised will still deserve attention.

The neo-con attack on Shaw was predictable considering their previous attacks on Ambassador Joe Wilson, his wife Valerie Plame, former U.S. Central Command chief General Anthony Zinni, former counter-terrorism coordinator Richard Clarke, former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill, CIA counter-terrorism agent Michael Scheuer (the "anonymous" author of Imperial Hubris who has recently been gagged by the Bush administration), fired FBI translator Sibel Edmonds (who likely discovered a penetration by Israeli and other intelligence assets using the false flag of the Turkish American Council and who also has been gagged by the Bush administration), and all those who took on the global domination cabal. But Shaw showed incredible moxie. When he decided to investigate Pentagon Inspector General Reports that firms tied to Perle and Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz were benefiting from windfall profit contracts in Iraq, Shaw decided to go to Iraq himself to find out what was going on. When Shaw was denied entry into Iraq by U.S. military officers (yes, a top level official of the Defense Department was denied access to Iraq by U.S. military personnel!), he decided to sneak into the country disguised as a Halliburton contractor. Using the cover of Cheney's old company to get the goods on Cheney's friends' illegal activities was yet another masterful stroke of genius by Shaw. But it also earned him the wrath of the neo-cons. They soon leaked a story to the Los Angeles Times claiming that Shaw actually snuck into Iraq to ensure that Qualcomm (on whose board sat a friend of Shaw's) was awarded a lucrative cell network contract.

But nothing could be further from the truth. Shaw, who worked for Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush, represented the Old Guard Republican entity that in August 2003 set up shop in the Pentagon right under the noses of Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Feith to investigate the neo-con cabal and their illegal contract deals. The entity, known as the International Armament and Technology Trade Directorate, was soon shut down as a result of neo-con pressure. Not to be deterred, Shaw continued his investigation of the neo-cons. Although the neo-cons told the Los Angeles Times that the FBI was investigating Shaw, the reverse was the case: the FBI was investigating the neo-cons, particularly Perle and Wolfowitz, for fraudulent activities involving Iraqi contracts. Shaw certainly must have recalled how, during the Reagan administration, an Israeli spy named Jonathan Pollard was able to steal massive amounts of sensitive U.S. intelligence over a long period of time and hand it over to his Israeli control officer, a dangerous and deadly agent provocateur named Rafael "Rafi" Eitan. That had disastrous effects on U.S. intelligence operations throughout the world because some of the documents were handed by the Israelis to the Soviets in return for letting more Soviet Jews emigrate to Israel.

In that investigation, Shaw found problems with operations at the port of Umm al Qasr, Pentagon sources said. In another, he criticized a competition sponsored by the U.S.-led Coalition Provisional Authority to award cell phone licenses in Iraq.

In both cases, Shaw urged government officials to fix the alleged problems by directing multimillion-dollar contracts to companies linked to his friends, without competitive bidding, according to the Pentagon sources and documents. In the case of the port, the clients of a lobbyist friend won a no- bid contract for dredging.

DoD Statement on Jack Shaw and the Iraq Telecommunications Contract

For several months there have been allegations in the press that activities of John A. Shaw, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for International Technology Security, were under investigation by the Inspector General of the Department of Defense (DoD IG). The allegations were examined by DoD IG criminal investigators in Baghdad and a criminal investigation was never opened.

Furthermore, attempts to discredit Shaw and his report on Iraqi telecommunications contracting matters were brought to the attention of the DoD IG and were accordingly referred to the FBI.

Shaw carried out his duties in the investigation of Iraqi telecommunications matters pursuant to the authorities spelled out in the Memorandum of Understanding between the DoD IG and the Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. Shaw provided a copy of his report to the DOD IG and, at the request of the Coalition Provisional Authority, to the Iraqi National Communications and Media Commission.

Shaw is not now, nor has he ever been, under investigation by the DoD IG. Any questions concerning FBI activities should be addressed to the FBI.

When the movie "Independence Day" first came out in the mid-'90's, I went to see it here in Houston. If you've seen that movie, you know that there is a scene in it where the government nukes a city to try to get rid of the aliens. That city is Houston. 60. Ignoring some of the more, ah, specific points,

I still have some problems with this:
1) Houston seems an unlikely target. A blue state coastal city seems a better target for this type of attack -- although this could be exactly the "cover" -- to do something that appears unlikely (in that Texas is Bush's "home" state).
2) Why would the attack occur before the reinforcements are fully in place in Iraq?
3) Sometimes weapons have a signature. (Think of Anthrax.)
4) The "administration" could just attack (bomb) Iran whenever they want to -- who could stop them? Of course, if nuclear weapons were to be used in this attack, then some serious provocation might be desirable. Still a lesser provocation might well suffice, given the insanity that grips much of the country. (I hear from some of my trucker friends: "Why don't we just nuke those damn Iraqis?" -- Say what?)
5) If an Israeli "hand" were discovered (and publicized), then all the Jews in the world couldn't stop the inevitable retribution... And this retribution could well extend beyond the state of Israel.

On the other hand:
1) There has been some preparation to expect a nuclear "terrorist" attack.
2) Al Qaeda might claim responsibility for an attack it had nothing to do with.
3) Treason and treachery are nothing new to the neocons.

At first blush, this seems like an anti-Israel piece, predisposing one to look at Israel as the source of the next "terrorist" attack (along with at least one prominent neocon). -- I also seem to remember claims that "the Jews did it" after 9/11. But considering how little most Americans understand the ties between the Israeli far right and the neocons, I expect little impact from this -- if indeed, blame redirection is the intention.

And I guessing that somebody believes that the next "terrorist" attack will be nuclear.

In any event, it is something different to supplement our diet of the same old propaganda.

Some variety is nice -- but it would also be nice if we could tell exactly what we were being served.

Now this is REALLY starting to scare me.

Do you know about Michael Meiring?

He's an American who is wanted in the Philippines for his part in bombing a hotel, and possibly in waging a false-flag terror campaign to justify a US military presence, who was spirited out of the country by the FBI after having been wounded in a premature explosion.

The Philippine Star is reporting today that "the Department of Justice (DOJ) is asking the United States to locate its two nationals — Michael Meiring and his friend, Stephen Hughes — and conduct an investigation into their alleged participation in the bombing of a hotel in Davao City on May 16, 2002."

"'Since both are US citizens and wanted by the Philippine authorities in connection with the bombing of the Evergreen Hotel in Davao City, which clearly appears to be an act of terrorism, I am certain the US government will not tolerate this terrorist act,' Gonzalez said. The DOJ chief sought the support of the US, through the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security, to track down Meiring and Hughes."

Meiring is an American national and self-described "fortune hunter," who was seriously injured May 16, 2002 in an explosion in his Davao City hotel room on the Phillippine island of Mindanao. Screaming in pain, his legs mangled, Meiring told police someone had lobbed a grenade through his window. Actually, the explosion had originated inside a metal box with which Meiring had checked in.

Just three days later, an FBI team arrived at his hospital room and spirited him stateside before the matter could be investigated, despite arrest warrants, an order that he not leave the country, and "without the knowledge of any police, military or government official in the city or region," in the words of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, who called Meiring's FBI-aided flight an "affront to Philippine sovereignty."

What is unusual about the case, The Manila Times reported, is that Meiring
was whisked out of Davao, past the Philippine National Police guarding him
at the hospital, and on to a chartered plane, accompanied by what
Immigration officials described as agents of the US National Security
Agency and agents of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The National Security Agency intervention, confirmed by Immigration Deputy
Commissioner Daniel Queto, sparked intense local speculation as to why an
agency that reports directly to the Office of the President of the United
States would send an entourage of bodyguards to speed Meiring to a hospital
in Manila.

Security tightened around the wounded man immediately. Press were told that
only his doctor—handpicked by the US Embassy—had access, and Meiring was
promptly airlifted to San Diego, home to a US naval base. The American
Embassy has refused comment. Vice-consul Michael Newbill settled the
hospital bills in Davao City.

The Manila Times quoted a friend of Meiring who said he was told by a
Filipino in Davao, carrying a message from the US Embassy that Michael
would never be charged with a crime in connection with the explosion. The
investigation will end up as a stonewall. Michael will be protected
and...the incident will be shortly forgotten, if you're willing to forget it.

Officials in Davao City will not forget. The suspicious blast took place
during a wave of terror bombings across Mindanao as US and Philippine
troops conducted anti-terror exercises. President Arroyo threatened to
declare a state of emergency and demanded that lawmakers rush through her
tough new anti-terror bill. Rush it through they did.

Here is the `confusing background' of the American terror bomber handled by
the National Security Agency of the Bush White House, compiled by Dorian
Zumel-Sicat and Jeannette Andrade for a three-part Manila Times
investigation that ran May 29-31, 2002.

Meiring was born in 1932 in South Africa and later became a naturalized US
citizen. His wife Angela is a nurse at a 7th Day Adventist hospital in Loma
Linda, California. He has been described as a surgeon, a con-man, a student
of medicinal herbs, a treasure hunter and, most recently, a terror bomber.

He first came to the Philippines in 1992, where he spent almost a year in
Metro Manila and North Luzon in the company of agents of the National
Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and under the protection of Ricardo Diaz, the
NBI Chief of Interpol.

In and out of Davao City for the past 10 years, Meiring had close ties to
well-placed government authorities in southern Mindanao, national
government officials and Philippine National Police officials like Colonel
Segundo Duran. Others in the circle: former Moro National Liberation Front
(MNLF) chairman Nur Misuari, Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) chief
Hashim Salamat and suspected New People's Army (NPA) leader Father Navarro.
Meiring also has close ties with `shady people' like MNLF Commander Tony
Nasa and others in Cotabato who acted as `front men' for his dealings with
the Abu Sayyaf.

He spent millions of dollars while in the Philippines, the source of his
funds unknown. According to The Manila Times, "his trail leads back
to...boxes supposedly containing US Federal Reserve notes and bonds

For more than two years, Philippine officials say they've wanted to arrest Michael Meiring. The problem? They couldn't find him, but then the 11 News Defenders took a look.

"They share information, they share money, they share training," says Hatchett. And Hatchett says all of these groups, "use explosives against the Philippines government and against the U.S."

The Defenders tracked him to a phone number with a California area code. He denied the charges, refused an on-camera interview and would not comment on the record.

Except for this: "If this harms me in any way, you will find my power then, and you'll find out who I am. But I will come for you. You harm me I will not let you off the hook," said Meiring.

The Defenders spoke with top justice officials in the Philippines and they say they've asked the U.S. government for help in locating Meiring, but have not received a response. A spokesman for the FBI in Houston, Bob Dogum, says they aren't aware of any Philippines request but that they are aware of the explosion at the Evergreen Hotel. They did not know Meiring was in Houston until now.

The popular and outspoken former IDF Chief of Staff Rafael Eitan, known as Raful, drowned this morning at the Ashdod port. He was 75.

Raful arrived at the Ashdod seaside early this morning, as he did every day, to oversee the continued construction of the new HaYovel Port. He drove up to the site, and while standing on the breakwater, was either overtaken by a large wave or slipped into the sea for other reasons. Only after an hour or more did his car attract attention, and a search began. A helicopter helped in the search efforts, and his body was found close to 8 AM. Resuscitation efforts by Magen David Adom teams failed to revive him.

FORMER ISRAELI ARMY C-O-S RAPHAEL "RAFUL" EITAN MURDERED

On November 24, the wide circulation newspaper Yediot Ahronot published two photos on pages one and two. They are herein attached. The question of the breakwater was answered in both the photos published by Yediot Ahronot. Eitan was on the protected side of the harbor. Big waves could not get in. The photo where Eitan parked his car showed that the whole bay was dead calm. Barely a ripple could be seen. Outside the harbor, the sea was nasty. But inside where Eitan was, it was quiet. Had he actually fallen in, he could have swum to shore in seconds. But that wasn't the biggest revelation in those photos. The state of the car was the shocker. I sent the car photo far and wide, observing:

Now look at the damage to his car. Observe the smashed windshield, the collapsed roof, the near total destruction of the right hand side of the vehicle. Now if anyone is crazy enough to think that a wave caused the wreckage, note the damage on the left hand side of the car as well. That car was rammed by something sharp there, by something powerful and blunt on the other side, and it appears that a fifty pound boulder fell on the roof.

Even if a magic tsunami raced over the breakwaters and headed straight for the car, it could not have caused the kind of damage we see in the photo. But the point is moot, because no giant waves occur where the car was parked. That observation was reinforced by the photo in Attachment Two: Eitan's body is on a pier in the Navy base, 1.5 km. distance. The pier is located on a far more exposed part of the harbor, yet the waves don't come close to reaching the top of it. And considering the still waters where Eitan parked his car, Israelis are asking how his body floated such a distance. The most likely scenario thus, is that Raful tried to escape his assailants in his car and was violently prevented from doing so. As for motive: No one knew more about Sharon's murky past than Eitan. Lately he had come out strongly against Sharon's Gaza disengagement plan. In his last interview, to Tel Aviv Magazine, he stated, "This disengagement plan is a historical error and I can prove it." In Israel today, that can get you killed.

Whatever the motive, the evidence of foul play was so strong in the public mind, that the government ordered an investigation on the day of Eitan's demise. It met for a few hours and declared that a wave had towed Eitan into the Harbor where he drowned. The issue of the still waters, the contradictions in testimony regarding the time of the "accident," and the state of Eitan's vehicle were not discussed. In Israel today, this passes for justice.

in Houston all of my life and was born after the Texas City
Disaster..but have known enough folks that lived through it and
have always taken the possibility of another disaster occurring

It was a beautiful place for me as a kid in the 50's and
so much smaller..

Bay City nuke plant did not exist and Houston was not so
close in population/bldgs and had about 1 million pop. if
not less.

The sky was blue and you could see the stars so easily.

In the unlikely event there is a 12/27 plot against Houston, I doubt it will be derailed by posting about it on the Net. Tuesday's scenario focused on a major terrorist attack against our Nation's maritime transportation system. The scenario involved multiple incidents that affected sea, land, air and rail transportation. One needs to give some credit to the planners of clandestine operations, particularly if they happen to be CIA/Mossad operatives. It is unlikely that the specifics of a planned event would have been broadcast without regard for security. The 12/27 Gang surely knew that there is an abundance of domestic and foreign listening capability that must not learn of their plans, or if they do, then at least only a disguised version. Gg obviously knows that items like dates and locations are generally codes for something else, just as a military name like, say, Task Force Olympia does not refer to the Olympic Games or to a landscape in Greece.

The reference to a “remote-controlled nuclear payload” having already been “concealed” makes the “Mossad/al-Qaeda/SAS” type operation in the “Houston area” unlikely. Such an operation would be more suited to a conventional attack rather than a remote-detonated nuclear device. Detonating an already concealed device hardly requires the services of “Mara Salvatruchas” in “protecting and running cover for rogue ex-SAS Britisch assassin… Frank Riley.” Gg is broadcasting these Wolfowitz contacts because they certainly raise red flags all over the place. Now that they are on the web, it will be far more difficult for Wolfowitz to use these assets in any capacity.

Eighth paragraph: “The far side of the CIA and Mossad have been ordered to drop any plans they may have had for bombing the financial district of Frankfurt, including the European Central Bank.” This has not yet happened. It is the ultimatum given by Gg on behalf of the German government. This is what Germany demands in return for not spilling everything that the BND knows about goings on in the “Wolfowitz network.” Had the order to drop plans against Germany already been given, we would not be hearing these things from Gg in the escalating fashion in which they are being presented.

Ninth paragraph: Gg’s pointing to “intercepts” and “disclosures” that “the American people are being set up for another, but even more devastating, 9-11 tragedy” is a shot across the bow. Gg is threatening the 12/27 Gang that Germany will broadcast these details also if it is not immediately given reliable signs of safety.
