He's got a great voice, he's nonconfrontational, he has his facts at hand and presents them in a manner which doesn't incite hostility in the caller.

"No, no, no, no. That's not what I'm saying." And then he proceeds to rebut the caller's argument.

So a lot of these people are "new" to me.

I tried listening to Mike Malloy, and even though I agree with him it's difficult for me to take his rants. Werbe is much easier on the ears. I could listen to him for a long time. I just wish this show didn't have so many commercials :P

Weekends or overnights on weekdays when they repeat Franken at midnight Eastern time. I'd like that weekday spot. Malloy broadcasts from Georgia, so it's not unrealistic.

I like PW's interviews in the last hour, too, btw.

phone with a lawyer who was assigned to President Aristide. So during the whole kidnap of Aristide we heard the NED people shooting and people screaming and the lawyer describing everything that was happening.

Democracy Now broadcasted all day live coverage of everything. It was an hair-raising experience.
