I got the following email from a woman I used to play cards with monthly. The last few times we played, I found it hard because I suspected many of the group were Bush fans. When I mentioned the war and Bush's atrocities at a game, the response was very mild. I've since moved to another state but still get email updates. The husband of the woman in question lost his job early last year and has since found another one paying less than half what he made. She told me recently two others' husbands had lost their jobs. They don't seem to be able to put two and two together about the job loss and the thief in office.
Anyway, here goes...
Subject: Request for our Prayers Please keep this going, not for me but for those that count for our freedom. Thanks.
Prayer wheel for our Military...please don't break it
Please send this on after a short prayer. Prayer wheel for our soldiers...please don't break it
Prayer Wheel "Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Prayer Wheel: When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world.
There is nothing attached.... This can be very powerful.... Just send this to all the people in your address book. Do not stop the wheel, please....Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine &others deployed in harm's way,
Prayer is the very best one.
God knows I support our troops and I know they need prayer. The part that gets me, if you read this, is where they say pray for them because they are defending us and our freedom. I know it's rhetorical but I must ask: DEFENDING US AGAINST WHAT??? Why the hell didn't they support them by voting Bush out of office.
