Please, someone tell me I didn't hear what I thought I heard!
I turned on Wahington Journal at about 7:30, and heard only part of a caller's comments so I'm really hoping I completely misunderstood.

The question was about the resignation of Abbas this morning. As I tuned in, a woman was on the line, and what I think I heard was that President Clinton was responsible becaue he pardoned Mark Rich. Honest to God I hope I missed something she said before I got there that really profound and deep, and not related to the resignation.

She did, by the way, call him "Mr. Clinton..He wasn't my president, he was never my president".

1. DUers need to start calling in as Republicans
No matter what the topic is, we must come up with the weirdest, most convoluted and ludicrous explan ation of how it is Clinton's fault then claim Mr. Clinton was never your president.

That's the only way to stop this crap. Show how stupid it really is.

3. Okay, take the 93,000 jobs lost last month
See, Clinton was too busy with Monica in the White House back in '98 to be concerned with the long term effect his inaction on jobs would have. His flagrant disregard for jobs in America set us up to lose 93,000 jobs las month, five years later, all because he was unable to control his sexual urges in 1998.

10. WStarr: Are you giving headlines to the repigs?
What you write here, the repigs cut&paste and use it as truth against the Clintons and against the Democrats. You are trying to be cute but we don't need cuteness at this critical time.

I'm not a regular participant here. I enjoy reading DU and all the active participant's comments. I do see a lot of negative silly comments which I don't see on the repig's web sites. You got to admire the repigs, they are repigs right or wrong. And they never mention any of the long list of crimes their party members and leaders have committed, and continue to commit today.

Bluntly! Your comments pissed me off.

9. But is turn-about fair play?
And what do we do when Freepers start calling-in on the Dem. line sprouting outrageous nonsense? It turns C-Span into a roadside carnival's hall of distorted mirrors; Dems pretending to be GOP and vice-versa. Sounds like a recipe for chaos and mutual anger-stoking. Better to be outselves, make our best case clearly, and refute what the other side says.

7. Clinton was responsible for Iran Contra
If Clinton hadnt been raising Chelsea he could have prevented Iran Contra and questioned Oliver North properly.

That nice Mr.Bush couldnt couldnt have prevented it or that honourable Reagan fellow.
