I am Catholic and want to know why ANY Christian would support non-Catholic Bush. I made a few sarcastic comments about the overt, anti-Christian bigotry displayed by some people on this board - as far as I can tell, these people are agent provacatuers, since they are doing the GOP's work for them - trying to paint Democrats as anti-Christians and anti-religious bigots.

The majority of Democrats are Christians - something you would not know if you believed two groups of people - the Republicans, and the anti-Christian bigots here. Both are doing their very best to destroy the Democratic party.

Christians who follow Jesus, often do not have the backing of the state, big corps and/or the ultra-wealthy. The Christians in name only get their backing instead, and therefore become very powerful and very wealthy.

these folks and many, many others put their lives on the line, spent time in prison etc. for peace and justice.
