2. I don't remember where I read this...

...but Bustamante is now at a 10-point lead over the Terminator. The recall itself is becoming even safer a yes, and Davis' approval ratings are still below rock bottom although they've stopped digging.

3. Be carefull with any polls relating to the recall

These polls are all based on an assumption of who will turn out for the election. Since this is an uprecedented election, nobody can really guage for sure who and how many will actually turn out. That having been said, the Field Poll has a long history of very accurate polling in CA elections. So for what it's worth...here's the latest numbers from them:

"Yes" on Recall: 58
"No" on recall: 37

Bustamante (D) 25
Schwarzenegger (R) 22
McClintock (R) 9
Simon (R) 8
Ueberroth (R) 5
Huffington (I) 4
Camejo (G) 2

...and Bustamante is moving up whereas the Terminator is moving down.
