Please read...very interesting
http://www.zeppscommentaries.com/Politics/cheshire.htm

snip

So when a recent member of the cabinet for Tony Blair came out
and flat out accused
the President of the United States of being complicit in the
murders of 3,000 people, and
of treason against his country, the American media must have
gone right out of its mind
with self-righteous rage, right?

Wrong.

snip

Michael Meacher, who had been Britain's Minister of the
Environment until he
resigned, in April, in protest over Tony Blair's Iraq
policies, wrote an opinion piece
that unequivocally charges Putsch not only of foreknowledge of
the 9/11 attacks, but of
deliberately sabotaging efforts to find and punish those
responsible in order to follow an
agenda laid out a couple of years earlier by the same right
wing coterie that make up much
of his cabinet and staff.

Meacher is accusing the American President of treason. His
charges, if true, could
very literally result in Putsch facing a firing squad. He is
accusing the President of
the United States of being involved in permitting events to
unfold that resulted in the
deaths of 3,000 people.

(if the website did not come up in blue so you can go right
into it, I am sorry...I didn't know how to do that)

1. Interesting article
Thanks for posting it.

I think a lot of people in other countries have questioned the convenience of 9/11.

2. Here's the clickable link
I think the reason it didn't come up as a clickable link in your original post was because when you were posting you probably had the Message Format box, "Check here if you want to format your message in plain text" checked. This is the box above the Subject line in the window where you create your post.

4. No problem movonne. Welcome to DU.

:hi:

Thanks for passing on the link. Of course it comes as no surprise that the "newshounds" at Fox, CNN and the others will "observe the passover" on Meacher's article as long as possible. However, my hope (and increasingly my belief) is that with articles like Meacher's bringing up the embarrassing details surrounding 9/11, even the mediawhores will at some point have no option but to report and examine these issues.

I read a Lew Rockwell column (Rockwell is a liberterian) where he mentioned that the big mistake made by the Bush/PNAC gang in their planning was to understimate the power of the internet to bypass the carefully formulated message (i.e. establishment propaganda) presented by the conventional news media. Of course, going by the chaos resulting from the Iraq invasion, it appears that planning is not a PNAC strong suit period.
