When Halliburton earns who gets paid???
Halliburton has been a huge benefactor of "terrorism" and the fallout on all levels. holding "prisoners" at Quantanamo, rebuilding Iraq, fielding mercenary soldiers around the world, rations and site accomodations for soldiers, i'm sure there are many more items to be added to this list of profit making from terrorism stimulated industries. Someone is making this money, but who exactly????

and what percentages to who? line workers, administrative staff, investors, advisors, consultants, executive level.

It's a daunting task, but the answers would be interesting? do you know of anyone who has already begun to look at this? is anyone interested in helping research this? i'm not very knowledgeable about how to research this so would appreciate some help.

anyone out there interested?????

1. Halliburton is a publicly-traded company

Of course, the execs are probably loaded up with stock options, so beside a salary and bonuses, they profit from the stock dividends.

on edit: a quick check shows their stock value has DOUBLED in the past year! Market symbol: HAL

4. is Cheney's "deferred compensation" in any way tied to stock price?
I certainly would NOT be surprised!

:grr:

I imagine Dicky will have a nice cozy job, and a nice corpulent salary, waiting for him when his term is over...

5. Cheney will be able to sit on 3-5 corporate boards
where he will earn a big salary for doing almost nothing, just like Vernon Jordan, Melvin Laird, Sam Nunn, Condi Rice and Hillary Clinton.

3. Mostly the executive level, of course. They get boatloads of

compensation of all kinds: salary, bonuses, special retirement plans, stock options, special expense accounts, company paid travel, no-interest loans, housing subsidies, etc.

Whatever kinds of schemes they can think up to increase their compensation is what they'll implement for themselves.

Also, they don't like high pay going to the "workers" so they implement all kinds of "reclassifcation" schemes, outsourcing, contract work with few benefits, etc. That leaves more money as "profit" that they can get diverted into the executives' pockets.

6. that is the information that seems useful.
we can surmise about their money allocation policies, but what are the real numbers. they must employ large numbers of people. what are the stratas of compensation? what are their secretaries and clerical staffs paid? where do they live?? who packs their provisions? what are they paid? a huge structure of peons has to be working to produce the wealth for those at the upper tiers. who are they? where do they work? what do they make?

ps. to sharon ann.......... that is my birth name too.

8. Just think of it as a circle
Your paycheck has taxes withheld
Those taxes go to the govt
The govt "authorizes" payments for the war
The war "contractors" (Halliburton et al)"bill" the govt..
The govt pays them
They donate $$$ to GWB..

The circle is complete :)
