I just called the White House comment line at 202-456-1111 requesting the president order the U.S. flag flown at half-staff in honor of the tens of thousands of lives lost in the tsunami disaster. You can also email at [e-mail]. I don't believe this will actually accomplish anything, but it made me feel a wee bit better having had my say on a matter so easy to implement and virtually free to the taxpayers.
