3. I agree - make it cycle 2-3 times slower...

Looks good other than that to me...

I assume the obnoxious graphic is an anigif? Should be trivial to slow the cycling down....

Constructive:
Agree that a slower graphic could be less annoying.
Perhaps the main menu could use a little space on the left side?
Same for the box below with news from Iraq, and perhaps also for the right linkbox?
