U.S. Mistreats American Tsunami Victims I saw this interview live yesterday on CNN.
HELEN WACHS: Well, I'm sorry to say that she was appalled at the treatment they got when they got to Bangkok airport.
Every other government was there greeting people. The American consulate people were in the VIP lounge. When they finally found them after three hours, they were charged to take passport photos. Some people didn't have money with them. Faye, fortunately, had her ATM card with her, and she said they paid for passport photos for some of the other people on line with them, and gave them money for food. She was really very surprised at that. – Helen Wachs, mother of Tsunami survivor Faye Wachs, interview on CNN
