WTF! The stranding was the second in Tasmanian waters in just 24 hours --

This many marine mammals beached and dead....very suspicious. What kind of testing is going on in this area....IMHO seems like sonic or nuclear,very deadly, and the timing related to the tsunami...this needs to be investigated.

plosion, low frequncy sonar/nuclear? happened, the pod might head for the surface too rapidly and it kills them. I hope scientists will be doing necropsies on those beautiful animals. There has been testing in that area, many whales and dolphins have died over the last 12 months...it is NOT normal. I do not believe these events are unrelated. So disturbing.

I think there was a blast, or series of blasts, so devasting that it fatally injured huge numbers. Entire pods, families may have been wiped out. These are some of the most intelligent and beautiful animals on this planet.

Kind of like the Office of Special Plans, designed to spread false news stories. When "we" found out about it, "they" claimed to have put the lid on it. Only later we found out it wasn't true. I think something similar happened to the military active sonar, supposedly put on hold in 2003. It is an ultra-high decibal long range underwater sonic boom which scientists said would kill or deafen even the largest sea animals. Maybe BushCo lied about this, too.

 Military active sonar works like a floodlight, emitting sound waves that sweep across tens or even hundreds of miles of ocean, revealing objects in their path. But that kind of power requires the use of extremely loud sound. Each loudspeaker in the LFA system's wide array, for example, can generate 215 decibels' worth -- sound as intense as that produced by a twin-engine fighter jet at takeoff. Some mid-frequency sonar systems can put out over 235 decibels, as loud as a Saturn V rocket at launch. One hundred miles from the LFA system, sound levels can approach 160 decibels, well beyond the Navy's own safety limits for humans.


Evidence of the harm such a barrage of sound can do began to surface in March 2000, when members of four different species of whales stranded themselves on beaches in the Bahamas after a U.S. Navy battle group used active sonar in the area. Investigators found that the whales were bleeding internally around their brains and ears. Although the Navy initially denied responsibility, the government's investigation established with virtual certainty that the strandings were caused by its use of active sonar. Since the incident, the area's population of Cuvier's beaked whales has all but disappeared, leading researchers to conclude that they either abandoned their habitat or died at sea.

How long will it take to understand that when you disrupt nature on such an enormous level, that there are massive repercussions, literally that are deadly to thousands upon thousands.

I know someone that was protesting these tests, they actually launched LFAS in a shallow "protected" bay, with people swimming, dolphins and whales present. She was not even submerged and it nearly killed her, she has never fully recovered.

This is what confused them. They still have their land-animal instincts to get away from extremely low frequencies to avoid earthquake effects, so they end up disoriented and beached. These secondary strandings are from AFTERSHOCKS.

The low-frequency sound waves we use in subs and experiment with are the same kind that can be generated by an earthquake, but far less powerful think of the sound of dragging a washing machine over concrete and magnify it by a few billion tons. They are confused by this incrediibly huge sounding hum that is coming at the and try to get away, thus beaching themselves. Think of being surrounded by ultra-bright dazzling stroboscopic beams in every direction and only seeing one way out, even if it was almost certainly dangerous.

At certain stress points I have no doubt whatsoever that we can cause a quake with an explosion, even a relatively small nuke of a few kiltons would do, like shaping a diamond by cutting along lines of cleavage in the crystal. But causing one with a bomb on the other side of the planet? That isn't possible. Even the kind of energy released in one of the big H-bomb explosions in the 70's isn't enough to do that kind of damage. It would either require an Extinction Level Event sized explosion or a near hit. The earth is much much much bigger than people realize.

The Hand of Man is not a factor in every tragedy. Sometimes things happen without us or our anthropomorphic Gods. They just happen.
