And other than a few thousand more a year for the "leadership" they all "earn" the same (Income silly, they're allowed 15% more for "other" "earnings" http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aa031200a.htm that doesn't even touch "Wealth" either.) for being in Congress. All of them earn the same?! Wait a second, why not "pay for performance"? Some House members don't DO jack shit compared to other members. Sounds awfully commie to me. What? Do they think everybody ought to earn the same income or something? Preposterous!

Another question is why they get to vote in their own raises...Hmm...Propose that for "private" sector and people here go ape shit nuts.

Why not the same criteria, and criticism, for the job of Representative?

2. Maybe they should get paid for showing up for sessions.
It seems in some countries, if you don't sign in and out, you don't get paid.

3. Our soldiers don't have enough supplies in many areas of Iraq...
The Iraqi people don't have electricity half the time, 93,000 Americans a month are losing their jobs, A large number of people are without healthcare, but Congress can vote itself a pay raise. Bastards!

5. Come on! I thought that the "Equal Pay" for "Un-Equal Work" discussion...
...would be fun.

I guess the reality of the situation isn't so amusing?
