US Ups Aid in Tsunamia Crisis to 350 million
The BBC is reporting this right now.

I guess the man who went on the air and said that rich western countries are stingy made an incredible impact. Now all the Western countries are trying to show who is the least stingy.

The important thing is that Aid is made available. And from countries all around the globe. That's certainly a good thing.

I think they said $35 million at first just so they could get the words "increased tenfold" broadcast over and over again.
