Lester Holt opened the show this morning with the following recap ~(close quote)"After a decisive election win President Bush starts the new year and a second term with a new agenda and a self proclaimed mandate, but will he be able to achieve these ambitous goals? Tim Russert will be hear to discuss President Bush's second term"
Lester:The White House has promised a full powered campaign style campaign with millions of dollars from interested parties to overhaul Social Security. Tim will it work?
Russert actually stated the obvious-retire groups are dead against it and there is no money to institute it (but plenty to campaign I guess). Russert also gave a very soft review of W's horrible handling of the tsunami relief effort.
Meet The Press (9AM Eastern) will focus on W's agenda for the full hour.

I turned on the Today Show to get information on what is going on in the world. I usually just check in to see the news headlines. This morning I saw them talking about Bush's next term. They talked about how Bush planned to rule with a mandate. After the headlines were over I turned off the show. I was wondering what was going to be on MTP.

He did that the first four years, ignoring all facts and figures that came his way. This is not new, and we know logic has no place under his "rule".
