My wife is a Buddhist and an intellectually strong conservative. The woman took a calculus course "for fun." She got an A. Goes to sleep at night reading either romance novels or a book on Byzantium.

The last republican she voted for was Reagan...his first term only. After that she was convinced all neo-conservative repubs were crooks and liars (and Ronnie was the first neo-con prez). She loved the Big Dog, often ranted (as only good conservatives do) about government waste in the House and Senate over Monicagate: "...my taxes are paying for this shit?"

She drives a Saturn Vue SUV where she happily displays her stickers "Farming is Good Land Use," "Living Simpy so that Others May Simply Live," right by where her Kerry-Edwards stickers were.

So...how is she a conservative? She wants the government to mind it's damned business. She hates taxation without representation. She hates it when pampered frat boys build empires overseas.

So do I.

9. Freepers are intellectual cowards

Not one of them is brave enough to try to defend his or her positions in an honest and open debate.

For over six years, Bartcop has offered to debate any GOP Goliath the RW wants to put forward. None have accepted his challenge. There can only be one reason for that: Freepers are cowards who can't defend their poisonous point of view.

They can chant, they can hoot, they can bray, but they can't win an honest debate.

That's because they're consistently in the WRONG.
