What is desperately needed is some serious education in both our nation's history, and world history in general. There are several factual errors that this person has put up. The first paragraph at the site you linked to betrays their need for historical accuracy, to wit: " One downside of living in the Information Age is having to swim and drown in oceans of information. People don't want an ocean. They want a glass of water. That's To The Point™ - distilled information - critical to your life ... your investments ... and your understanding of the world." After browsing the site, I've come to the conclusion that this is just another point in the RW echo chamber, spreading lies and disinformation, or as they euphimisticly put it, "distilled information"

The sad thing is that these people can get away with such bald faced lying. It is a statement of how badly our education system has been dumbed down when these people aren't called on such flat out lies such as "Islam, including the biography of Mohammed and the text of the Koran, was invented in the centuries after the Arab Conquest as a religious rationale for Arab imperialism."(the wave of Arab conquests didn't start until after the introduction of Islam). "(hint folks, Russia's main historical influence has been European culture, not Asian culture, read up on Peter the Great and Ivan the Terrible, also note the Westernization that even Lenin promoted). The list of historical errors is a long one.

I run into a great many people like this living in Missouri, and my plan is simple, hit them hard and quick with the historical reality, a quick five minute history lesson, let them mull that over for a couple of days, and then come back and see if their outlook has changed. Most of the time it cracks a little, so the next step is to start hammering at that weak spot until they realize that their belief system is based on disinformation and lies. When that point is reached they start hungering for the truth, and I start feeding it to them.

Some people refuse to change though, despite the truth slapping them in the face. They may acknowledge that they've based their outlook on false information, but they still refuse to change, for they have come to be comfortable with their false reality, and don't want to give up that security. These people are much tougher, if not impossible, to change. Thus I put these people on a lower priority, or give up on them entirely. Some people just don't want their bubble burst, no matter how foolish they look.

But always, always, the best thing you can hand people is the truth. Sad to say, a lot of conservatives are being blinded by lies. It is what this misadministration is building it's house on, and sooner or later, it is what will cause this misadministration to fall.

I do think China will eventually collapse due to their own policies. The regime there has no sense of justice, commits acts of brutality and doesn't care if they happen on international live tv, and has engaged in a family-planning by government order policy that has led to a serious gender balance problem in younger generations. On top of that, I highly doubt that the people of Hong Kong, after years of being part of the British Empire, are very happy about being under chicom rule.

It is a concern for world stability-how will the regime respond to the problems that their policies have caused? Will they invade or try to invade neighboring countries like Taiwan? How do we respond to such an action with a nation that has a large nuclear arsenal?

8. The only real way to handle this type of irrational insanity
