Bush is trapped - We can't pull out of Iraq without WMDs
I for one, will not feel safe knowing that all that VX nerve gas, thousands of gallons of Anthrax, and other bio or possibly nuclear weapons are still hidden somewhere in Iraq.

If we were to pull out, we would obviously have to go in and invade all over again, just to keep looking for those weapons.

Saddam and Osama are still on the loose, possibly putting together another religiously fundamental secular terror plan...

I think I know what went wrong with the plans... Iraq is almost like a desert, so I'm sure they just didn't have the water to grow the rose petals they were supposed to drop at out feet.

We need to pull out, and then re-invade, but this time, truck in the flowers ahead of time... Little details like this are important.

Anyone want help me work on the songs our grandchildren are going to sing about Rummy, Perle, Kristol and Wolfowitz?

1. They won't be singing songs.....
...it'll be more like chants: 'ashes, ashes, we all fall d-o-w-n'

6. Well,
While I will concede to not being amongst the most favored informed of my fellow DUers, I see some problems myself with the way this scenario is framed.

If we were to pull out, we would obviously have to go in and invade all over again, just to keep looking for those weapons.

1 - we are not going to pull out.
2 - thus, we are not "going to have to go in and ivade all over again"
3 - there is no reason to go to WAR to look for weapons for which there is no EVIDENCE of existence - there are also other alternatives to war for this.

Saddam and Osama are still on the loose, possibly putting together another religiously fundamental secular terror plan...

1 - Are you linking the two of them TOGETHER?? Are you serious??
2 - Separately - yeah, but I wouldn't limit that to Iraq!
3 - Saddam is toast
4 - Osama Bin Forgotten is safe
5 - Yes - terror plans are in the works and we are FUCKED when they are unleashed un us.

I think I know what went wrong with the plans... Iraq is almost like a desert, so I'm sure they just didn't have the water to grow the rose petals they were supposed to drop at out feet.

1 - What?? Are you talking about hidden WMD's? Psssst. This wasn't about WMD's. This was about OIL! (Operation Iraqi Liberation haha) This was about strategic placement of American troops in the Middle East for years to come! PNAC!
2 - Something DID go wrong with the plans though. Rumsfilled's arrogant cock and his fellow neo-CONS and their arrogant crooked and unilateralist selves. THAT's what went wrong with the "PLAN". So far! That we know of!

We need to pull out, and then re-invade, but this time, truck in the flowers ahead of time... Little details like this are important.

That is patently absurd, on all three counts.

8. Hey, that's great; I can join, I'm a "fundamental secularist"
Get me one of them mustaches...

Thanks for the laugh; great post.

Ya know, nobody ever comments on how cool the Iraqi uniforms were: nice cut, that bitchin' dark olive green with the hint of grey, the turtlenecks underneath, and that snappy angular eagle. Maybe if they're serious about some back-to-basics secularism, I should give 'em a try...

11. Where have all the soldiers gone.
Gone to grave yards, one by one. When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?

12. Maybe if Poppy Bush had known about "pulling out"
We wouldn't have these problems today :) . . . Barbara may have been dissatisfied occasionally, but if Poppy had pulled-out, :) :) :)
