Rush claims that Bush was three days late because he, Dubya, was being careful to not commit funds officially to unscrupulous parties who would end up putting the dollars into the wrong hands, namely terrorists. He did not say Muslim terrorists, but he made the comparison to monies that were sent to Central American disaster relief in the 1970's and said that was how the Sandinista guerrillas got their funding! :wtf:
Then Rush says that "Doctors Without Borders" who have received $40 million so far, put out an announcement that they had sufficient funds to do their work and encouraged people not to send any more money. That's when I pressed play on my card CD. The neo-cons just go right on spreading false information, lies and distortions. I live in Orlando FL where virtually all of the news and talk shows are slanted to the extreme right and this kind of propaganda is endless.
