So that might factor into their decisons. Others probably just believe the trickle down nonsense, that if the government follows these policies teh economy will grow and swallow the deficit. Other's believe that we are wasting a lot of money on government programs that help the undeserving--a large deficit will force them to cut back.

None of these theories makes a lot of sense.

it is not working. Just point to them the widening gap in income between the top haves and the middle/bottom and the proof is in the pudding. Of course, the RWers I talk to about this act like I am making this up or ignore it.
