I took my lunch a little early so I could stop off, grab a tape, and shove in the machine at home. I will have my own personal copy of this moment in history. I was a few minutes late getting back, and when I came through the door I couldn't resist. I said "It's a great day for Democracy, (freepername)!" I told him that I was three minutes late because I couldn't leave until I heard those words. You know the ones. "I DO have a Senator". I am so pumped!!

I just wish I had 2 VCRs to tape C-Span 1 AND 2. Oh well, I suppose they'll run the Senate debate again.

He asked me at Thanksgiving if I was cooking a turkey. When I told him that we were going to the in-laws he said "That's what's wrong with women today, they just don't cook anymore." I informed him that I do cook (in addition to working full time and making sure that my kids behave themselves), and that he needed to shut up. Apparently, he wife can't/doesn't cook. Dude, that's not my problem.

yesterday my freeper coworker said he will not be watching the show MONK anymore. I was surprised because that was all we had in common. His reason was he just learned that the guy who plays Monk is an Arab American . I was like WTF ??
