Why is Bush pre-empting his own flick at 8:30 tonight?

I am just guessing here, but I bet that this 15-20 minute segment of the flick is the most damaging to Bush, and flies in the face of what we know happened that day. Could it be the scene where Bush is sitting at the Booker School listening to kids reading about goats while the WTC burned?

Rove probably figured this part is such a disaster that he doesn't want it to be seen.

Why else schedule the speech to interfere with this paen to our fearless leader? Why not do it Monday, before the football game?

5. Well, the 7th IS an anniversary, now that you mention it....

It was on 9/7/01 that Jeb signed an executive order in Florida which basically set up a pretext for declaring martial law in the event of an emergency. An emergency that he (and his moronic brother) obviously expected to happen.

...that scene isn't there. It used a little dramatic license, in which Bush marches out of the classroom and onto Air Force One screaming, "If those terrorists want me, I'll be right back home waiting!" The vomit will be flying.

...Though everything I've read about the film would seem to indicate it will be nothing but pure Rovian propaganda - i.e. the impression that DipShit was trying to get back to DC when reality is he was flying around the country like the chickenshit coward he is and always has been.

Maybe the admission that he "watched the first plane hit the tower" made it into the movie, and that escaped their editorial control, just like the transcript of the speech sat on the White House's own website for months, freely available for download by who ever wanted a copy.

My TV guide has the movie on showtime which probably won't be interrupted by his current lies. Doesn't matter much to me. I don't have the stomach for either. Reading Ben Franklin's biography by Walter Isaacson seems to be a better use of my time

11. Showtime does not have a lot of subscribers...

And people that are watching the movie will not leave it to go to the his speech...but, with the publicity of him pre-empting his own movie, may make some tune in that otherwise would not. However, the point is to have a double, a quinela, if the left one don't get you, the right one will...either way, he will be seen.
