Interesting points:

The candidates, listed as 11-179, take up 7 pages. None of the frontrunners are on the first page.

I can vote early by touchscreen at various locations around my region. Delightful.

A while back, we were sending comments to Kevin Shelley about touchscreen voting; he was going to make a decision about how CA would address the concerns. I didn't hear what the decision was, but my sample ballot says:

We will use punch cards for the recall.

Starting in November, we will use the "InkaVote" system. Like a punch card, but instead of punching it you bubble it with a pen. More like a multiple choice test. Votes optically scanned.

Touchscreen "early" voting will continue to be available.
