Something to think about.
I was a registered Repig. I voted for Perot twice and Clinton. As a result of the Clinton witch hunt, I turned Democrat in 2000. (Gore ) after, NJ primary Dean, voter. (Look when the NJ primary occurred!). I voted for KERRY.

Now, I am finding myself ready to change parties! This was the first time in my life, that, I felt the need to contribute, (buy the election). That is still disgusting to me.

I will never contribute my time, sweat, and money to a Democrat again, (they got me once, Repug's, weren't that lucky), until, they prove other than the sit, rollover, play DEAD PARTY.

It is time to crap or get off the pot! I want you to think about, checking that box on your Tax Return.

I don't know what party to switch to, but I think Independent would send a BIG MESSAGE TO BOTH!

2. Instead of taking your toys and going home, you could stick around
and try to change and inlighten the dems. Just a thought. But our democracy may not be important enough to you to put any more effort in, though. Right?

3. Say these words with me
From Donna Ladd - the entire statement: http://www.crmvet.org/disc/moseslad.htm

Fair-weather friend: these words matter to Democrats:

But I've been thinking a lot about patriotism lately: It seems that love of your country matters more when other people try to take it away from you.

"...that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."
Maybe I finally understood my brand of patriotism last Sunday listening to the quiet voice of Bob Moses recite from the Declaration of Independence behind the pulpit at Mount Zion. We live in a country built messily on amazing principles of equality formulated by slave-holders and apologists. It is a country with a foundation of freedom so strong that Mr. Moses, a black man beaten in Mississippi for trying to register blacks to vote, would move his family here to help the next generation, and the next, continue to fight for the freedom and education that our founding fathers promised us, even though they weren't ready to give it to us all. I now believe that the American ideals of equality, justice, pluralism, tolerance, freedom of and from religion and opportunity are worth staying here — in the state and in the U.S. — and fighting for.

Go ahead - I will stay and fight.

Impressively creative use of punctuation in your post here, too.

8. Attack dogs, back off
Did you actually bother to get it?

I was a Re pig, because I grew up in a Re pig, area. They are not bad people, (the ignorance, that I grew up around). We were taught, never pay interest on anything and do not EXPECT anything from the Fed. govt. That, I think, is a smart, thing.

Before you freaks ban me, I got seriously ill from a tick Bourne disease, and almost let my illness prevent me from collecting, my obligatory short term disability that I paid premiums for, (Because of my over-priced income at the time).

During my 9 months of serious ant-biotic treatment, monthly liver function panel tests, and protesting in DC and locally, to reps., I tried to help those who suffered more than me. I did not apply for unemployment compensation, because, I did not want to drain the system of people making so desperately less than I was at the the time.

I f'ed up, because you people, will never forgive me for that $10,000., that I could've collected. I didn't know my computer job would be shipped to India, I was, sick as a dog, and asked GOD to bring me home.

9. I don't know what to say.
Democrats want programs to help hard working people take care of themselves when life hands them a bad deal so that they can get back on their feet. But, as long as you vote for rich conservatives, they will feather their nest with your money and give nothing back in return. Liberals have been trying to change that. Take the money when you need it. That's what it's there for. If you don't it will be snatched up by pork barrel politics and go to those who least need it.

You all are judges.

Shame, shame on you.

I wish that I had something more prolific to say.

12. Cleita
This is not a repug/ dem fight. They shake hands, albeit, not in complete agreement, but in the ends.

The corporate, contributions, have more then made this a fight. It cuts both ways. The Dems, have become irrevelent. They find the corporate money more relelevant, than the people's will (a gift from GOD himself).

I can attest the many the frauds perpetrated by corporate america but who the HELL will listen?

If, anyone cared to listen, it would be devasting, just the truth.

14. Sorry for your troubles, everybody has 'em...
but your troubles have nothing to do with your first post about leaving the dems other than you gave money that you could have used to sustain yourself.

So if you had bothered to give it, maybe someone would have bothered to get it.

I just hope you don't leave.

15. You just don't get it
They are playing us. We should not have to donate a 1 penny, not 1 penny.

I voted against my party for more than a decade, prior, to the voter registration change. without spending 1 penny. It didn't make a difference, what is wrong with picture?

I think that John Kerry might,(I really hope, might be a decent individual, but, if he runs if 08, I will not vote for him).

It is really time, to bring out a Dean. My own, Repuke dad, thought Dean, was a worthy candidate, I despise my father, but he actually saw something in Dean.

17. You can do great good for the country without giving your $$
Emailing, writing, calling...all of it helps.

You can do all of that right from where you are sitting. And by the way, lots of people here liked Dean in the primaries, and still do! You would be in good company.
