I've always thought there should be a rule that the players on these teams actually BE FROM the communities they are "playing for". Listening to Tony Dungy on the radio this morning. I was expecting Tony to tear into Moss. Instead Tony (who coach some time in Tampa and has been to Green bay as a visitor a lot) said it is common for Packer fans to moon the opposing teams bus after a Packer home win. Since the Vikings had done a lot of losing in Green Bay during the Packer years, Moss has seen his share of Packer butts. So is Moss's fake moon on TV worse than the countless real moons seen by Randy all these years... not in Dungy's book. I agree.

28. The reason behind the "fake" mooning

is because Wisc. fans moon the losing team, no pretend...the real big full moons.

(Hubby was flipping channels, so I don't know which channel was on. I just verified with him who it was that said it)

The coach said that when his team has lost, as their bus is leaving, the Green Bay fans line the fence and moon the bus. He said he'd seen it 7 times and that he knew that Moss had seen it as well.

Moss was just giving back to the fans what they have dished out in the past.
