2. Raven you are far too late
William Greier wrote "Who Will Tell the People" The Betrayal of American Democracy in 1992 -- a decade before Bush's selection.

We have no democracy in America. Its a farce. We have no power unless we work for decades to take it back. Its that simple. The Democrats won't help and the repugs certainly won't help. It has to start at the grassroots; people have to be educated and taught to really understand how they are being ripped off to pay for corporations and other groups that have nothing but contempt for the middle class and even less than that for the poor.

Bush speaks to the American people like he does because he is contemptuous of them. They are ignorant and will buy a tube of toothpaste because they like the shiny smile of the model on TV.

Hate to be such a downer, but I once loved this county. Now I believe that country is gone and only God knows what my Granddaughter will inherit as a result of the inattention and complacency of the American people.

6. I wondered what fantasy world does Bush live in?
Terrorists this, terrorists that. We will fight these terrorists. Terrorists bad, us good. We will rebuild their nation.

Well tell me more, George! Like, just who are these terrorists? If, as you say, you can detain people based on intelligence provided by the Iraqi people, why don't you have enough intelligence to identify those responsible for bombings and detain them? Or even prevent them?

This was simplistic drivel, awesome in its awfulness.

8. Vladimir Putin, Jaques Chirac and Gerhard Shroeder will keep him in check.
Along with Vincente Fox, the Canadian and Chinese leaders. Bush can bamboozle the American public but the international community is far too savvy to support him and his imperialistic regime.

They will let him sink and enthusiastically embrace the new American leader after the elections.

"WHAT A MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!" or "WHAT A MAROON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

On edit I half expected another "My Fellow Americans, here's how were to commemorate September 11" speech which I find really patronizing on *'s part.
