Has anyone been impacted by the Vioxx recall?

really suffering with out the Vioxx. She said she'd almost risk the heart attach to get it back

I know it is in the same class of drugs, but so far it hasn't been implicated as causing problems.

I used it for terrible inflammation and its effects were remarkable.

3. Yeah, I blew out a disk (only medium badly) the doc gave me

Vioxx samples to last a week. Worked great!

Went in to fill the 'scrip and the pharmacist says "they took those off the market THIS MORNING." LOL!!

Doc calls me and says take Aleve instead. Now it looks like that may be a problem too.....

6. A client of mine

in her 60's had been on it for years. She sufferred a massive heart attack last June and knows that it was the cause.

She had had multiple joint (both knees and hips) replacement surgeries so she was doing a lot of it for a prolonged period of time.

She definitely has a case, if she can only survive for as long as the time it will take to prosecute.

Two years ago, I was given a sample of that crap after an injury to my finger. Took two doses. It did absolutely nothing at all.

Then I switched to Yunnan Paiyao (oriental medicine that reduces inflamation and increases circulation-costs about 10 bucks for a years supply) and garlic. Was fine after 3 doses. Go figure.

Actually, sleep and exercise seem to help.

I was cutting back on Vioxx well before the news was released.
