Internet access for troops: My nephew, who is stationed in

Kuwait right now, just had their internet access privileges taken away due to "some problem", which I assume means he can't really talk about it. Anyone else know about this; is it also in effect in Iraq? Is this is true, I have a gut feeling it has something to do with control of news out of the Middle East until after the election. Any thoughts or comments?

1. News, or maybe the higher-ups don't want the troops talking about

2. I had not heard this, but my son is also in Kuwait right now...

he will leave for northern Iraq on the 18th. Before my son, Dan, left, he set up his website here in the usa to be a place where he could send info and keep us updated about what is happening with him and the men he is with there..but so far..no update..and i was wondering what has happened. He did email..very short to his wife, but that was a couple of weeks ago..nothing sense.

4. As far as I know, this happened less than a week ago; his name suddenly

dissappeared from my IM list, and I received no reply from a email asking why. His wife finally talked to him by phone and that's when we found out. I think families that have been relying on email from their loved ones in the Middle East should be asking why this happened. If they've had access for all the years we've been over there, why all of a sudden are they concerned about security? Probably just concered about Bush's security and controlling the news from the troops. Assholes.

here that just recently started talking about how much of the Military vote went to Kerry instead of Shrub....
