Just got off the phone with Jerry. His opening theme is the broken ideology of the war. Regardless of your opinion of him, this is a bright day for liberals & Democrats. He is the highest profile liberal media figure we have and we should be happy he's decided to chime in, all be it on Martin Luther King day. Especially to come into the heart of the beast that won Bush the election, Cincinnati, and put on a liberal talk show shows he's got big gilded brass balls. Springer is an intelligent, thoughtful person. When asked about his TV show he's straight up and honest that he doesn't understand why people watch it. He says HE wouldn't watch it if he were sitting at home in front of the TV.

DU'ers who want to hear Randi Rhodes should be able to pull in this 50,000 watt flamethrower pretty well in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio & Illinois.

WSAI blows into Chicago at night (I've moved the WLS pre-set to WSAI...I just will make sure I avoid the local daytime station)...and I hope they re-run Springer's show overnight.

Now to nudge Clear Channel into flipping more of their midwest stations (say like 1690 in Chicago)...
