The only thing I don't like getting paid is the drool from a energetic dog that always licks me when I deliver to its house.

Oh, and I get paid better than my friends who work hourly and various stores. Maybe I'm just fast with my papers. Then again they don't have to go tromping around in the snow.

13. On the payroll committee

I'm salary, and i decide the salary not to starve the business of cash
so we can grow successfully. Yes, i'm happy to be paid enough to meet
the bills, that i can focus my energy on positive things.

Its amazing the sense of contentment when one has at least a living
wage, as all the fear of surviving is arrested, leaving "what do i do
know?". Then the next quesiton is "how do i make more." and as a
principal manager of a business, that question is self answering.

15. I'm hourly with no OT...

but the week of Christmas, we had a huge amount of snow hit our area. I was one among three employees who were able to get to the station, so they had no choice but pay me ot. I hit 'em up for 31.5 hours ot. I guarantee that will never happen again.

I fix computers, fly planes & do engineering consulting. It's busy but fun. :D

20. forced part-time hourly, no OT

I'm required to stay at 29 hours/week or less, because corporate structure requires payment of benefits at 30+ hours a week. I also basically get McDonald's wages even after 18 months working for them.
