5. The real reason MLK was assassinated had little to do civil rights stance

but mostly to do with his Viet Nam stance. You must read MLK's speech on Viet Nam. I was just amazed when I read it and listened to the audio. He completely and clearly understood the darker side of America and could explain it in terms that allowed the intellectually unwashed to understand it also. That is why the "powers" had to kill him. He could even make a Freeper understand how they are cannon fodder.

People in my family, who are mostly conservative, still respect him. One or two might not but most of us do.
