This is the new GOP talking point slogan. I've seen it repeated in several articles, especially about Dean. They combine the pessimism charge Reagan levied against Mondale in '84 with the protest charged Nixon leveled against McGovern in '72. We better be prepared to throw it back in their faces, or run the risk of repeating those defeats.
I suggest the following slogan to describe the Bush crowd:
The party of Fear and Lies.
