I have been following his blogs on Truthout...it struck me just now that I was in graduate school and living in Foggy Bottom when Richard Nixon had his second inaugural and I remember that there were armed soldiers on every street corner and on the top of my apartment building. How little things have changed in all these years...how we have failed.
