exploit, pressure and disqualify anyone who gets in, based on AA. It can be something incredibly lame as pointing out the person says "Axe" instead of "Ask"; or that someone has a chip on their shoulder; or that "they" like to stick to their own. Sometimes it gets much, much worse.
In an Employment Discrimination class, I had a bright white, gay classmate confess to me that in the law firm that he worked for as a paralegal, they had intentionally sabotaged work that was given to a Puerto Rican new-hire, to see if he could find the mistake. He couldn't, they fired him. He had moved from Puerto Rico, had a pregnant wife and they sabotaged him. The classmate's excuse was that the information was available for anyone who understood Florida Law.
And then a relative of mine who is Republican, and now regretting it because of this Iraq disaster, use to argue that it was bad to have employees that you couldn't fire at a drop of a hat because you're forced to keep bad employees. Yet, he is always complaining and under stress because he's fearful of being laid off from work. He suffers health problems, he is a racist, he's turned his son into a racist. So, they work for this large private industrial-military complex which must adhere to AA for federal reasons, and all they do is spew hatred and see lay-offs affecting more white males than other races, though they never present any evidence to back-up their contention.
