Just got this in an email...
DEAR ABBY,
My husband has a long record of money problems. He runs up huge credit card bills and at the end of the month, if I try to pay them, he shouts at me, saying I am stealing his money. He tells me to pay the minimum and let the kids worry about the rest, but already we can hardly keep up with the interest.
He has also become extremely arrogant and abusive toward our neighbors, so much so, that most of them no longer speak to us. The few that still do, are an odd bunch to whom he has been giving a lot of expensive gifts, running up our bills even more.
Recently, he has gotten real religious in a big way, what I don't understand is, one week he's hanging out with Catholics, and the next, with people who say the Pope is the Anti-Christ.
This month it was something new, he has been going to the gym everyday, and is now into wearing uniforms, and cowboy outfits. But this week was the straw that broke the camels back, he's now demanding that before anyone can be in the same room with him, they must sign a loyalty oath. Abby, I am at wits end, and have no where else to turn. Can you help me?
Signed, Lost in DC
Dear Lost:
Stop your bitchin and moanin, Laura. You can divorce the jerk any time you want. The rest of us are stuck with him for four more years
