"Eyes Wide Open"...in DC, 1370 combat boots exhibit....(PHOTOS)

This display is in the National Cathedral in Washington DC, put up on Monday, January 17th....it is my HOPE that the exhibit was left there for bushites big prayer hypocritical crap (led by bushite supreme, pat "gawwddd sent bush*" robertson) in the Cathedral today....so they could trip over the fruits of their 'compassionate conservatism"

3. Bill Mitchell donates his DEAD son's combat boots to the exhibit !!

this also indictes that the "Eyes Wide Open" exhibit is no longer at the National Cathedral (because bush* was "praying" there today, and can't have his mind disturbed by those boots)....anyhow...according to this more recent news release, the combat boots are now at the "Center City Christian Church" in DC....


further horrifying is that rumsfeld REFUSED TO MEET with a large group of GOLD STAR parents today (rumsfeld has been busy at bush* parties)....SHAME.....

Bill Mitchell donates the boots of his fallen son, Michael Mitchell, to the AFSC's "Eyes Wide Open" exhibit.

Today, after all the ceremonies and parades, and while some were celebrating, others met on the steps of Center City Christian Church to participate in a candle light vigil as part of the AFSC’s “Eyes Wide Open” exhibit. There, Bill Mitchell donated a pair boots that belonged to his fallen son, Michael William Mitchell. Bill Mitchell donated the boots to the exhibit so that his son’s “death was not invisible” and to show “the true cost of war.” Bill Mitchell, a native of California, was in town to meet with Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, which was denied, and to “turn his back on Bush.”
