Supreme Court Oral Argument on Campaign Finance Law |

on c-span - Very interesting.
The justices beat up on Ken Star and it looks like Bobby Burchfield is doing well under intense interrogation from the justices.
I admitt I'm a little bias.

but didn't the SC rule once before that money was speech in a political campaign. If that is true, then limiting money would seem to be limiting speech and be unconstitutional.
Of course the law is never that cut and dried.

Ted Olson isn't being well received by four of the justices.
Yeah, I have no idea where this will land as there are many many loop holes to get the money out.

It seems that the new law has loopholes in it a mile wide anyway. Very discouraging.
