Do you still respect the office of the Presidency?

Meaning the position, history and the past men who have held the job, or has the criminal Bush Regime ruined it for you?

The last president in my mind is Clinton. He was the last legally elected president and will remain so in my mind until there is another.

Until another fair election is held and the BFEE is out on it's ass, I refuse to think of them as anything but squatters. I do not recognize the government as the United States of America, it's what happens when there is a coup....other countries do not recognize the new 'government'. Al Gore continues to be in Exile and perhaps one day, our country and government will be restored.

5. I fear it. Too much power concentrated in one place.

No matter what else the Bushies have done, they have demonstrated two irrevocable truths about our democracy:

1) an executive diminishing the functions of the congress and the judiciary is nothing less than a national fucking disaster and,

2) undeclared endless war on a never-defeated foe cannot be allowed as an excuse for the president to be above the law. In fact, it is nothing less than an incitement to never-ending war to maintain unbridled power in the first place.

Bush is a tyrant.

What's changed since? Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan, a Bush, Clinton, another Bush. And if any of the others been 1945 and now had scandals, I'm unaware of those.

11. I respect the office of the Presidency and the good things that can

come from there given the right president. Gov't is supposed to be full of checks and balances. There is no balance to the gov't right now. I'm feeling afraid that any crazy thing they want to do will get done.
