The pollsters have recently been forced to admit that the majority of Americans are against the re-election of George Bush. Two wars, thousands of dead human beings, and nine million lost jobs later and people are beginning to realize that something is very wrong. In spite of this gradual awakening most registered voters continue to depend on TV for their news and they are kept woefully in the dark about issues like election reform and touch screen voting. The media has gone to great lengths to foster an illusion of legitimacy and normalcy surrounding the electoral process. People have been intentionally lead to believe that their vote counts and Bush could actually be booted out of office on Election Day. No way is Bush going to lose, it just can’t happen. The 2004 election has already been rigged. The corporations and the military industrial complex have bought them selves a government and they aren’t going to let some silly little presidential election jeopardize their investment.

Everything's OK, I just don't have access to the internet all the time. I'm over here at Zsu zsu's visiting and I decided to do some surfin' and postin'...

I'm still holding out hope that America will awaken from her self imposed denial and throw off the yoke of her Fascist overlords...

3. Yes, but

The rig is on, in many ways, the repugs have set up systems in many states that mirror what Florida did (deny voting rights to Dems), and the media-military-industrial-entertainment complex is part of the problem... still, they can't rig everything. For every radar machine there is a radar detector. Everything they do can be foiled and exploited. It's still possible to win, but we've got our work cut out. Don't forget that people will rationalize everything. They are now rationalizing Bush, but when they vote against him, they'll rationalize that too. One of our problems is that the rich and powerful will drive up the markets next summer and early fall to give encouragement to the wealthy. It is important to emphasize that even the rich were wealthier with Clinton than with Bush, and that the deficit (war crimes) will have to be paid some time.
