i'm just trying to understand why the hush-hush, top secret, cozy relations with the saudis. why it's ok for them to harbor terrorists. why the rights of united states of america's citizens are systematically being dismantled. why we can't afford health care, education or simple human rights here but we must afford them for iraq. what has been done since bushco took power for the good of this country? really, what has been done? i feel like i've woken up in the middle of a nightmare where the people are idly sitting back watching the greatest treason in the history of this country take place. and, of course, what do we do? we've marched, voted, written, spoken out, changed our lifestyles to use less - what can we do? i truly hope i'm overreacting.
