For every fallen soldier there is a story that goes beyond the cold impersonal facts of where and when he fell and even beyond the requisite statement by someone (does Rumsfeld send those people out? that the soldier died doing what he loved crap.

There is an article almost always somewhere that tells what the young man or woman was hoping for in life, the pressures that led them to joind the military or reserves, and the whole in the lives of their friends and families.

Now getting a lot of those stories together and putting them on a blog and adding to them daily would be priceless if we could get that blog looked at by Americans who don't normally visit liberal sites.

We could do that by taking the link to message boards that are not politically related.

It works. I did it with a picture page before the war that showed that the victims of an invasion might largely be children. It became quite popular.

I'm doing something else right now, but it's a good idea. You can get the free blog space at eblogger.

Then let us know here about it.
