6. Many years ago, even before George Bush was old enough to

drink and snort coke, Byrd was a member of a group that was later found to be racist. You know what I like about Byrd? Is that he gives me hope that people who have associated with racists, can change their ways. What scares me is that I have to go that far back to find that kind of conversion.

I'm sure you know all about Bobby Byrd's not great past...yeah...like his FORMER membership to the KKK, and his pro-segregatist past, even though he has denouned the Klan and amitted his wrongs of what he has done in the past,and because in recent days the even more guitly of this Repukes have been using this to play the race card because he was on of the senators against her...yet I find it funny that they totally forget that he was for Powell in 2000...that is why we do not want to have this discussion
