they guy who is against the JEssica Lynch book is on (He lost his son in Iraq)

He wants to know about the other members of the 507th? How will we know if its accurate if there is no collaberation? She is telling their story and it should be accurate. What about the other POWs? One had a Mountain named after her and that was it.

4. Dateline
Dateline interviewed some of the survivors from the 507th last month including Shoshana Johnson. If you are interested in reading the transcript, here is the web site: http://www.msnbc.com/news/945981.asp?0sl=-10 .

Unfortunately, I do not think it is possible to know exactly what happened to Lynch. Lynch was separated from the other survivors so they can not really confirm or deny her story. Other potential sources include Iraqi soldiers, the Iraqi lawyer and the Iraqi medical professionals who treated Lynch. Unfortunately, the Iraqi lawyer's story contradicts the story of the Iraqi medical staff (he claims that he saw her being beaten and they claim that she was never abused).

Frankly, I am in the minority here because I do not blame her for accepting this book deal. However, I hope she remembers that her fellow servicemen and women will be reading this book as well as their families and that her name will be attached to the final product.
