People in Iraq VOTED under Saddam, it was a sham. Now they have ANOTHER SHAM under the US occupation.
Even if they get to the stations alive, they don't even know WHO IS RUNNING! Even if they vote for someone (even though they don't know who they're voting for), I guarantee you Bush and his cronies are making this completely fraudulent.
Even if nothing goes amiss (dream on) and the candidates take their positions of power, how is ANYTHING GOING TO CHANGE?!?!? Chaos, unemployment and everything else will continue and there will be NOTHING the newly "elected" (selected by the US) body can do about it. The US will continue to occupy and oppress Iraq and its people. Until the US leaves and Iraqis take control of their country, nothing will change.
