LOL...I could not believe the history revising that took place today. One person made that statement above, and I have to say, that I do not know of one historian that would agree. Sure it may have delayed the conclusion of the war, and it was a deadly surprise to the Allied forces, but there was no way it would have changed what was inevitable, Germany was going to lose the war. Even German military officials say that they wanted to use those forces to delay the Russians in the East, not squander them in a vain hope for one of Hitler's miracles. Indeed, Hitler's goals were to capture the port at Antwerp, divide the Allied forces, and try to delay the capture of the industrial base in the Ruhr, which would rob him of his heavy weapons, so even that monster saw the writing on the wall! Then some other idiot compared the U.S. troops in Iraq, to the National Guard in Selma, Alabama, completely ignoring that fact that those were U.S. troops defending the right of U.S. citizens to vote in...yep, thats right...the U.S! Such fucking idiots!
