Enjoying some success with the weekly Podcast of my radio show (
The Pab Sungenis Project with RSS feed at
http://www.lowbudgetradio.com/rss.xml) I got to thinking about possibly doing political commentary and "news" in podcast format.
It would be a five-days-a-week feed, with new "episodes" coming Monday through Friday. Two minute feed, with :30 availability for a PSA, promo, or eventually (hopefully, to offset expenses) an ad.
If enough people wanted to, I'd even offer high-quality versions via FTP through the Low-Budget Radio Network, which could be picked up and aired (for free) by stations that wanted to carry it, or people who wanted to shell out the money to buy two minutes of ad time each day to air our side of the story.
My questions: (1) Do you think enough people would subscribe (for free) to a daily, well-produced, two-minute Democratic commentary podcast? (2) Can we attract enough support to help keep it on the air? (The hosting charges would only come out to about $20 a month, if that much.) (3) Am I dreaming?
What's everyone's thoughts?
