Now that we know they have the courage, they don't need us anymore. And all those ex-pat Iraqis dancing in our streets--now's the time for you to go back to your country, grab a gun from an American soldier, and send him home. Saddam's gone now. It's your country. You fight for it.

2. we broke it, we own it

many of thos expats left Iraq long before this war, and have set up new lives elsewhere, including in the US. People who become refugees still love their country of origin, and when an election comes around they may want to participate, but come on, they have lives in new countries, sometimes going back decades, and children that have been born in the US, for example. It's not Iraqi expats' fault (except for Chalabi) that their country of origin got attacked by the US. I don't think we should expect them to go back now just because we got rid of Saddam. After all, Saddam was supported by the US, and was an impetus for many Iraqis to become expats in the first place.

6. Better they tear up their lives for their country, than an American

If they want their right to vote so much, they can go fight for it. Send back some National Guard guy who threw away his job to help them.

They're getting a lot of money by being there! You can't just cut them out of the loop like that!
