Anyone catch Hardball with Fineman, someone else, and Judith Miller? Miller (NYT) said her sources told her that the admin had actually been expecting a large turnout today, publicly lowered their expectations, making the actual turnout seem spectacular, AND that they had made overtures to Chalibi (sp?) to take the "Minister of the Interior" position. Tweety almost went ballistic...what? what? "Do you mean to say that after a free, democratic election, the United States will be in a position to choose Iraq's cabinet ministers?? Miller went on to talk about the making-up of bushco and Chalibi. The faces Tweety was making was priceless. He and Fineman almost burst out laughing at the absolute farcical nature of the whole election.

An election was held. Will the Iraqi's have any say-so over governing their country? No. A farce was held for PR purposes.

That Matthews had her on was significant. He knew WHO to book about the Fake Iraqi Elections. It's Chalabi's and Allawi's Country to run...with Negroponte as the "Shadow." We all knew this...the Iraqi Elections are DisneyWorld...Hollywood.. They were held to keep the "Average American" tuned to see where their tax dollars were going.
