During the same time period, Army National Guard Brigades will reorganize into 34 brigade-size units using the same modular design as the Active Component.""
So, ten new brigades by end of Sept. 2007. Does anyone know how many men make up a 'brigade' ? Seems pretty vague to me.
I don't know how the DoD is planning on all these new bases AND Iraq deployments and can pull it off without further stress and strain on the grunts. No offense, but already articles are saying the system is under strain. If so, is a draft necessary ? It will be if a second front somewhere opens up...And they know it.
